1. Who we are

appbro is operated by [OPERATOR: your full legal name or company name], [ADDRESS: postal address and country] ("we", "us"). We are the data controller for the personal data described here, except where section 4 says otherwise.

Questions or requests: stevegtdbz@gmail.com.

2. Data that stays in your browser

The studio keeps your projects in your browser's own storage (IndexedDB) and autosaves there. Your license key, if you have one, is kept in your browser's local storage so you don't have to re-enter it. This data never leaves your device unless you choose an action listed in section 3. Clearing your browser data deletes it, so save important projects as a .json file.

When you export, every screenshot is rendered and packed into a ZIP on your device. We don't receive copies of your exported images.

3. Data our server stores

Buying a license key

Payment happens on Stripe's checkout page. We never see your card details. When Stripe confirms a payment, we store the license key, your email address (taken from checkout, so we can send and resend the key), Stripe's payment and customer references, the amount and currency, and the key's status, expiry date, remaining credits and export count.

Translation and AI features

When you translate captions, the caption text you selected and the target languages are sent to our server and passed to OpenAI to produce the translation. When a signed-in creator uses AI design features, the details they enter (such as an app's name, description and store listing) are sent the same way. We keep a count of how many translations and AI generations each license or account has used, so plan limits can be applied. We don't keep the translated text.

Creator accounts

If you sign in with Google, we receive and store your Google account ID, email address, display name and profile picture URL. We also store your session (as a hash of a random token), the templates you save and their sharing and price settings, and usage counts for plan limits.

If you subscribe to AppBro Pro, we store your Stripe customer and subscription IDs, the subscription status and the current billing period. Stripe processes the payment itself.

If you connect a Stripe account to sell templates, we store its Stripe account ID and whether it can accept charges and payouts. Your bank and identity details are given to Stripe, not to us.

Buying a template from a creator

Template sales are charged directly on the creator's own Stripe account. We record the purchase (template, amount, currency, any platform fee, Stripe references and the buyer's email from checkout) so we can grant and restore access. We store only a hash of the access token we give the buyer.

Emails you send us

If you write to us, we keep the conversation to answer it.

Server logs

Like any website, our servers log technical request data (IP address, time, requested page, browser type) to keep the service secure and working.

4. Find clients and outreach

Creators can use Find clients to look up apps on the App Store and Google Play and save them as leads. A lead holds public store information (app name, developer name, icon, store link, category, rank and country) and, where available, a business contact email. That email comes either from the Google Play listing or, when the creator asks, from the contact or about pages of the developer's own website. The creator can add their own notes and status.

Creators can email those contacts from their own email account, through settings they provide (their SMTP server and login, which we store encrypted). We store a copy of each email sent, so the creator has a record.

The creator who saves a lead and sends an email decides why and how that contact is used, and is responsible for following the anti-spam and data protection laws that apply to them. We provide the tool and store the data on their behalf.

If you are an app developer who was contacted and want your details removed, reply to the sender to opt out, or write to us at stevegtdbz@gmail.com with your email address or app link. We will delete every lead and stored email that matches.

Some of these providers are based in the United States or process data there. Where the law requires it, transfers rely on the provider's adequacy certification or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

We don't sell personal data and we don't share it for advertising.

6. Cookies

We set one cookie: a session cookie when a creator signs in, which keeps them signed in. It is strictly necessary for that feature, so it doesn't need consent. We use no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Stripe sets its own cookies on its checkout pages to prevent fraud; see Stripe's privacy policy.

7. How long we keep data

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under the EU and UK GDPR), you can ask us to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to withdraw consent where we rely on it. Write to stevegtdbz@gmail.com and we'll answer within one month. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

We process data to deliver what you asked for (licenses, accounts, purchases), to meet legal obligations (payment records), and for our legitimate interests in running a secure service and, for the Find clients tool, in letting creators reach businesses through their published business contacts.

appbro is not intended for children under 16.

9. Security

Traffic is encrypted with HTTPS. We store session tokens and template access tokens only as hashes, encrypt creators' email passwords, and keep payment details with Stripe. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and will tell you about a breach where the law requires it.

10. Changes and contact

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. For significant changes affecting account holders, we'll tell them by email. Contact: stevegtdbz@gmail.com.
